Intermittent PCB update: I made a mistake!

Hey there! I just realized I likely made a crucial mistake! Disregarding my very own advice on how to fabricate PCBs, I forgot to 3D print a model of the PCB to see if it fits the part. So even with the boards already manufactured and in transit on this side of the Pacific, I exported the .step from KiCad, imported it to FreeCAD, exported it to Cura as an STL, sliced it, and then printed it.

At first glance, the results seem promising. Adjusting the Z coordinates to accommodate for the 1 mm thickness of the boards resulted in the proper thickness being printed, and while I can say that I was nervous that 1 mm would be too thick, I turned out to be perfect. Board geometry also seems to be on point.

Initial signs are promising. Now, I am holding my breath to see if the electrical side of things are OK! Look out for an update in the coming week!
